Music has been a big part of my life since childhood and I have a passion for teaching, performing and composition. I am an experienced teacher and specialise in instrumental tuition, ensemble and classroom music. I have recently moved to Auckland from Christchurch and teach woodwind and ensemble in various Auckland schools and privately in my own studio. I teach flute, saxophone and clarinet and I enjoy playing and performing a variety of music from orchestral and classical chamber music to jazz and contemporary. As a teacher my goal is to foster a lifelong love of music in children. I also enjoy teaching adults who are rekindling a passion, or learning an instrument for the first time.
